I'm not pro-life or pro-abortion, I think abortion has it's place, but should only be used in certain circumstances. those circumstances being:

1) If the mother or child's health or life is in serious danger and the only option is an abortion.

2) That the child was conceived by rape, and the mother feels she cannot raise that child because of what happened.

Otherwise I believe you should carry on with the pregnancy.

i'm pro-choice. I think that you should be careful about not getting pregnant in the first place (if you don't want a child,) but if you still do, then you should be able to

but what if the kid is ill? you know that it will always be in pain for the short time it lives

thats a good point... i said no because its againsed my religion... but in this case... i guess it would be ok.

Pro-choice. I could debate, but I'm too tired to write another überlong rant. So I'll just say I'm pro-choice, Doesn't mean I think abortion is the greatest thing ever, but I believe it can be a necessary evil. ... though I don't really consider it evil since a fetus is not (whatever anyone says about it) a human being. A fetus is a very undeveloped form of life, but a pig, cow, sheep or any other animal that we humans mindlessly slaughter and eat has more sentience than an undeveloped fetus, and if I don't feel sorry about eating meat, I won't feel sorry about what is the human equivalence of an omelet. (Except we don't eat the fetuses... but you know what I mean.)

Some interesting stuff I came across:

Definition: Abortion is the expulsion of an embryo or a fetus that is not normally able to live outside the womb. Spontaneous abortion or miscarriage may result from human imperfection or from an accident. Deliberately induced abortion simply to avoid the birth of an unwanted child is the willful taking of human life.

Has God ever stated that a person would be called to account for injury to an unborn child?

Exodus 21:22, 23: “In case men should struggle with each other and they really hurt a pregnant woman and her children do come out but no fatal accident occurs, he is to have damages imposed upon him without fail according to what the owner of the woman may lay upon him; and he must give it through the justices. But if a fatal accident should occur, then you must give soul for soul.” (Some translations make it appear that in this law to Israel the crucial matter was what happened to the mother, not to the fetus. The original Hebrew text, however, refers to a fatal accident to either mother or child.)

Does a doctor’s opinion that allowing a pregnancy to go full term would be harmful to the health of the mother justify an abortion?

Medical opinions are sometimes wrong. Would it be right to kill a fellow human because that one might harm his fellowman? If at the time of childbirth a choice must be made between the life of the mother and that of the child, it is up to the individuals concerned to make that choice. However, advances in medical procedures in many lands have made this situation very rare.

I think that abortion should never be allowed! because i mean.. think about it ::)

.. i kno that some people say that we should because of the large amount of teenagers that are getting pregnant now these days.. but they kno what happens when you have sex! You can get preganant. So there for that means that it is there responsibility and there fault that they got pregnant. Not ours. So we shouldnt be the one to kill the baby OR be responsible for them. Because an abortion is considered a murder the way that i look at it. You have to kill the baby thats inside of you. Its still a living thing.. its just inside of you and obviously hasnt been born yet. And like i was saying.. its just like a murder (( A CRIME!!)) because its just like going up to a person and saying i dont want you here so im going to kill you and then, killing them! You made the baby, so it should have a chance to live and have feelings and emotions just like us. So yeah basicly, im AGAINST abortion!

And some teens rebel and/or say that its there body and that they can do whatever they want with it and have sex and do drugs, but its really themselves and the baby that they are hurting. And if the laws of the United States were that way, then doing drugs, drinking alcohol, being a prostitute and standing on the corner would be perfectly legal! But it doesn’t go that way! You have to abide by the law and I think that one of the laws should be having NO ABORTIONS!!!
