His name is Nomi and he died before MTV exploded onto the music scene. He was the epitome of a Diva with his voice, performance and life! Does anyone here know of him or interested in knowing of him?
Ladies... Please help! « Result #4 on Jun 28, 2005, 1:33pm »
Hello there, this may sound a little strange, but let me re-assure you i am genuine.
I am currently a poor student trying to earn a bit of extra cash, and so have come up with a bit of a business idea. Basically I will be offering my services as a waiter/cleaner/etc... for female house parties. The selling point is that I will only wear an apron (nothing else at all). Do you think this would be a popular thing? Would I actually be able to earn any money out of it at all?
Also, at the moment I am a little nervous about getting my kit off in front of a bunch of drunk women (i've seen too many girls out on hen nights!) so if any of you (around my age - 20) would be willing to let me try it out in front of you, with maybe only one or two of your friends (I think i'd better test the water first!), for free of course then please e-mail me at crowd_pleaser@hotmail.co.uk. I'd really appreciate it if you could include a photo of yourself - just to make sure you're not some dodgy bugger! - i'm sure none of you are though!
Anyway, thank you very much for your time, and I hope you can help me out, I would be extremely greatfull!
P.S. I know this whole thing may sound a little dodgy, but honestly I am just a student trying to work out a way to earn a bit more cash!
I am 23 years old Eastern European living in the States, about to graduate from college, and have been married for one year. My husband is wonderful - very stable, family-oriented, loves me tremendously... I can't even begin to describe how wonderful he is.
I loved him, and until recently I thought I still did. I was finally able to take some time to reflect on my life and my aspirations. I am very driven, inquisitive, adventurous, and intellectual. I am very much a free spirit, and recently felt bound by my marital status. I feel like I may have made a mistake.
While I am willing to compromise (it’s essential to a healthy marriage), I think my husband’s differences aren’t workable anymore… He’s changing into a Christian fundamentalist, unwilling to raise children with an agnostic (I am leaning toward agnosticism), and I thought he had more to offer intellectually. It’s been a long time since we’ve had a decent conversation, and I feel like I am starting to fall out of love with him. He doesn’t stimulate me, doesn’t challenge me anymore. Am I greedy and irresponsible? I want to resolve these issues before I have kids…
I was in love with him, but my feelings can’t make up for the lack of connection that I feel. I feel like there’s something or someone out there for me (although I don’t think one needs a relationship to feel complete or successful). I feel I have outgrown my husband who is 29 years old. I don’t want to hurt him, but shouldn’t I be truthful to who I am? Shouldn’t I be truthful to myself and follow my heart, regardless of how scary, painful, and hurtful it may be. Please help! Thank you!
Re: Abortion « Result #7 on Mar 23, 2005, 11:24pm »
And some teens rebel and/or say that its there body and that they can do whatever they want with it and have sex and do drugs, but its really themselves and the baby that they are hurting. And if the laws of the United States were that way, then doing drugs, drinking alcohol, being a prostitute and standing on the corner would be perfectly legal! But it doesn’t go that way! You have to abide by the law and I think that one of the laws should be having NO ABORTIONS!!!

TEXT I think that abortion should never be allowed! because i mean.. think about it .. i kno that some people say that we should because of the large amount of teenagers that are getting pregnant now these days.. but they kno what happens when you have sex! You can get preganant. So there for that means that it is there responsibility and there fault that they got pregnant. Not ours. So we shouldnt be the one to kill the baby OR be responsible for them. Because an abortion is considered a murder the way that i look at it. You have to kill the baby thats inside of you. Its still a living thing.. its just inside of you and obviously hasnt been born yet. And like i was saying.. its just like a murder (( A CRIME!!)) because its just like going up to a person and saying i dont want you here so im going to kill you and then, killing them! You made the baby, so it should have a chance to live and have feelings and emotions just like us. So yeah basicly, im AGAINST abortion! Later<3!!!
